Whirlwind

This song was composed at the beginning of this year at a very difficult time in my life. Many things were new to me and they rushed to me all at once and the constant rainy weather during that time didn't help. My parents were in HK, I had to work full-time, had to cook and look after myself and my sister, felt so lonely, just came out of high school so missed my friends a lot, but most of all I was so far away from Him.
This is a story of how His company is with me, and how by faith, I can pass through Whirlwinds in life with Him =]

Whirlwind

As I walk alone through the storm
The wind engulfs me
And I find it hard to breathe.
I slip and fall and I cry out to You,
"Why have You forsaken me?"

But You smile back at me,
Gently pick up up, You say,
"I only wanted to take your breath away,
Sweep you off your feet,
Let you fall into my arms."

When the cloud above me gets heavy
I know You'll shower me with blessings.
And amidst the grey I will see You rainbow,
Your promise to me.

Though I can't see You, I'll look to the sky with faith.
Though I can't feel Your touch, I'll still reach out to touch You.
While the things around crash against and bounce away,
I will grasp onto You to light the way,
In this whirlwind, Lord I pray,
My steady Light post.
